Metirionic teams up with DIALOG SEMICONDUCTOR to enable radio based Distance measurement using Bluetooth technology, Embedded World February 25-27,2020
At Embedded World Metirionic demonstrated coherent phase based distance measurement techniques with Dialog’s DA14690 Bluetooth® Low Energy Chip Family. Metirionic also showcased a new series of ranging-ready radio modules, which shall simplify the design in process and support a straight-forward integration. A sophisticated system design established the base for future derivates for special application needs, while the leading edge low power Dialog DA14690 silicon family provides an excellent base for low power consumption and long battery lifetime.
“We have been working with Dialog Semiconductor to enable accurate RADAR measurement techniques for Bluetooth® Low Energy Applications. We see a large business potential in many markets, automotive, lighting and building automation in particular.
